Stop Juggling and Start Growing: Why Doing More of What Works Will Revolutionize Your Business

I’ll cut straight to the chase: you’re doing too much.

You’re juggling ten different tasks, keeping everything in the air, thinking, “If I just work harder, hustle more, and spin one more plate, it’ll all pay off.”

Spoiler alert: it won’t.

Let me ask you this:

Have you ever found yourself saying things like:

  • “I know I should be focusing on X, but I’ve got all these other things to do first.”

  • “I just need to get through this one project, and then I’ll focus on what’s really important.”

  • “I’ll get back to that once I handle answering emails, or tweaking my website, or posting on social media, or responding to DMs, or researching new business tools, or checking analytics, or brainstorming for a future project…bla bla ba”

Starting to see the problem here?

The problem isn’t that you’re not working hard enough. It’s that you’re spreading yourself thin—doing a little bit of everything, rather than doubling down on what’s actually moving the needle.

It's time I quote my fav person! Hormozi says, “Do more of what works. Find what prevents you from doing more of what works and solve it.”

Now, before you roll your eyes and think, “Yeah, easier said than done, Reem,” hear me out.

Imagine this scenario:

You’ve noticed that running ads brings you the most clients, and yet, instead of doubling down on that strategy, you’re tweaking your website design for the 50th time this month. You’re spending hours on social media, engaging with every comment, posting every day, but…is it really driving growth?

This is what I like to call: 'Busy Over Productive.'

When you focus on too many things at once, you end up busy but not productive. You feel like you’re working all day, every day—but when you look back, there’s little progress to show for it.

Here’s the hard truth: success doesn’t come from juggling a million things. It comes from laser-focusing on the few things that truly make a difference.

“But how do I actually stop juggling?”

Glad you asked 😏 (and no, the answer isn’t to hire five assistants to take on your chaos).

Step 1: Identify What’s Working

Take a moment to really think about what’s driving your business forward. Is it a particular marketing strategy? Is it a specific service that’s bringing in most of your clients? Is it that one offer that sells out every time?

This is where your attention should be. Whatever’s working—do more of that.

Step 2: Eliminate the Noise

I know, I know—easier said than done. But let’s be real for a second: how much of your to-do list is filled with tasks that feel urgent but aren’t actually helping you grow?

It’s time to Marie Kondo your workload. If it doesn’t spark growth, it doesn’t get your time.

Yes, that might mean cutting back on daily cold calling (gasp!), skipping that extra networking event, or saying no to that shiny new business idea.

Step 3: Solve the Obstacles

Hormozi nailed it: “Find what prevents you from doing more of what works and solve it.”

What’s standing in your way? Is it a lack of time? Resources? Fear of change?

➡️If it’s time—delegate. Outsource the tasks that aren’t contributing to your growth.

➡️If it’s resources—invest. Put your money where your growth is, whether that’s hiring someone to take over your marketing or scaling up your ad spend.

➡️If it’s fear—face it. Often, we avoid focusing on what works because it feels like a risk to double down. But the real risk? Staying stuck.

So here’s the equation:

Juggling = Burnout.

Focus = Growth.

And the businesses that grow? They’re the ones that find what works and milk it for all it’s worth.

I speak to sooooooo many business owners who are spinning their wheels trying to manage every aspect of their business—marketing, operations, client relations, content creation—you name it, they’re doing it.

They tell me they’re exhausted but aren't seeing the growth they want.

STOP doing whatever you’re doing - you’re spreading your energy across too many tasks that aren’t moving the needle.

Next, take a look at what’s really driving your revenue —let’s say it’s your Facebook ads.

Your logical brain cells should make you double your ad spend, and cut back on the time-wasters.

And so finally… you’ll start seeing serious results.

Businesses that do this? They explode.

I’m going to leave you with this:

Imagine where your business could be six months from now if you focused all your energy on the things that actually move the needle.

Imagine what would happen if you stopped spreading yourself thin and instead went all in on what’s proven to work.

No more distractions. No more juggling. Just laser focus and growth.

Now, what’s the one thing you know is working for your business?

Good. Now go do more of that.
